Speculation was rife yesterday that CLAT 2022 exam might be postponed. However, the Consortium released a press note stating that the exam will be conducted as per schedule. The students were assured that proper arrangements have been made in conjunction with the authorities to ensure that they get to the test centres safely.
Around 70,000 students appeared for the CLAT exam last year at around 131 test centres. Due to this, students have to travel large distances to appear for the exam. In current situation, was it sensible to conduct the CLAT 2022 exam?
Only time will tell.
At the time of this post being published, the CLATalogue team has not received any response from the Consortium of NLUs regarding its comments on this matter.
