Participating National Law Universities will conduct the admissions process to the five-year
integrated UG and PG programmes commencing in the Academic Year 2024-25 based on
CLAT 2024 scores. CLAT Consortium has declared the CLAT 2024 Results on the 10th of December, 2023 after taking into account the objections raised against the questions and provisional answer key.

Per an official notification from the CLAT Consortium, all eligible candidates have been invited to participate in the Admissions Counselling Process for admissions to the five-year integrated Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes commencing in the Academic Year 2024-2025.
Counselling Process for CLAT 2024
- Candidates shall receive invitations to the Admissions Counselling Process via email at their registered email address and SMS at their registered phone number.
- Candidates are advised to check their registered email address and to carefully read the instructions in the Consortium’s ‘Notification: Instructions for the Admissions Counselling Process’.
- Candidates may log in to their CLAT 2024 portal on the website of the Consortium of NLUs to participate in the Admissions Counselling Process.
Registration for the Admissions Counselling Process for CLAT 2024
- Eligible Candidates will be invited to participate in the Admissions Counselling Process in accordance with the rank list and the admissions matrix provided by each NLU.
- Eligible candidates will receive:(1) An email invitation to participate in the Admissions Counselling Process at their registered email address; (2) An SMS at their registered mobile number; and (3) An invitation on their CLAT 2024 portal;
- Candidates must login to their CLAT account on the website of the Consortium of NLUs and validate that they have been invited for counselling during each round.
- The Consortium shall not be responsible for any undelivered emails/SMS.
- Registrations for the Admissions Counselling Process will open at 10:00 A.M, on December 11, 2023 and close at 10:00 P.M. on December 20, 2023.
How to Register for Counselling Process for CLAT 2024?
- Login to your CLAT account.
- Click on the ‘Make Payment’ button (the Make Payment button will be visible only if you have been selected for the Admissions Counselling Process).
- Complete the payment of the Counselling Registration Fee.
- Wait till you see a ‘Payment Successful’ message before logging out;
- Candidates are advised not to wait till the last minute to make payments to avoid payment-related issues.
Important Note: The Consortium will not be responsible for any issues relating to payments. Only candidates who have successfully completed the registration process for the Admissions Counselling Process will be considered for the allotment of seats. Registration for the Admissions Counselling Process does not guarantee admission at the member NLUs in any manner.
Payment for CLAT 2024 Counselling Process
To complete the registration for the Admissions Counselling Process, candidates must
pay the (refundable) Counselling Registration Fee by 10:00 PM on December 20, 2023.

- Candidates from the General Category: Rs. 30,000/-
- Candidates from the ST/ SC/ OBC/ BC/ EWS/ PWD categories are required to pay Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only)
- Payments can only be made online after logging in to the CLAT 2024 portal through the Consortium website.
- Note: Candidates will have to mandatorily provide their bank account information, which will be used to issue refunds (if any). Ensure that you provide valid bank account information which will be active until the refund process is completed.
