  • The Government of India brought in an ordinance to end violence against doctors and health care workers.
  • The Supreme Court of India pronounced that it is the quantity of the banned drug mixture that will decide the punishment of the offender and not the purity.
  • No 100% quota for tribal teachers: Supreme Court
  • A five-judge Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court held it unconstitutional to provide 100 % reservation for tribal teachers in schools located in Scheduled Areas across the country.

  • The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released the “World Economic Outlook” report.
  • India Ranks 53rd in Open Budget Index 2019
  • State Bank of India has listed green bonds of $100 million (about Rs 750 crore) on BSE’s India International Exchange (India INX).
  • Tata AIA Life Insurance has become 1st life Insurance Company in India to announce additional benefits related to COVID-19 for Policyholders and Agents at no additional cost.
  • The Government of India has reviewed the extant Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy.
