JGLS Announces Admission Through LNAT-UK for the academic session starting in 2025.
Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) has made a major announcement wherein it has stated that admissions to JGLS are to be done through LNAT-UK for the year 2025-2026. LNAT-UK Test is only mandatory for 5-year Integrated LLB Programmes.
All undergraduate law applicants for this academic year are required to sit for the Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT-UK), a standardized exam designed to assess the critical thinking and reasoning abilities necessary for a successful legal career. The LNAT-UK 2025 is compulsory for admission to 5-Year Integrated Law Programs such as B.Com LLB, BBA LLB, and BA LLB, and will also be recommended for other law school degree programs.

What is LNAT-UK?

The LNAT is an online assessment used by several UK universities as part of their admissions process for undergraduate law programs. It evaluates key skills essential for studying law, such as comprehension, logical reasoning, and the ability to make well-structured arguments.
The LNAT is divided into two sections:
  1. Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs): The first section consists of 42 multiple-choice questions based on 12 argumentative passages. This part tests reading comprehension, logical reasoning, and analytical abilities.
  2. Essay: The second section requires candidates to write an essay on one of three given topics. The essay doesn’t require prior knowledge of the topics, but it does demand a well-thought-out argument supported by logical reasoning.
Unlike traditional exams, the LNAT doesn’t test the knowledge of law or legal concepts. Instead, it measures the ability to think critically, reason logically, and analyze information from different perspectives which allows JGLS to test students and their legal reasoning skills.
