As you stand on the brink of the CLAT 2026 exam, remember that you’ve invested time, effort, and determination to get to this point. The countdown has brought you closer to realizing your dreams, and now is the time to shine.
1. Revise strategically!

Use these days wisely for revision. Focus on key concepts, formulae, and important topics for the examination. Prioritize weak areas, but also ensure you review your strengths to maintain confidence. Ensure you have a grasp over latest current affairs and the basics of certain legal concepts.
2. Don’t focus on pending subjects/ topics a lot

Try to use the remaining time to build upon your strength. You can of course take a look at the pending topics and try and cover the most important ones; however, our advice would be to play to your strengths.
3. Solve Previous Year Question Papers

You might benefit from solving Previous Year Question Papers of CLAT in a multi-fold manner. One, you can use it to gauge your preparation; two, it can help you decide on a strategic approach towards the exam by simulating real exam-like scenario and three, PYQs are extremely crucial as they allow you to understand not just the exam pattern but also the length of the passages enabling you to improve your reading-comprehension speed and accuracy.
4. Play to your Strengths!

We’ve often heard the phrase “play to your strengths” being used to denote that people should do what they do well rather than getting tangled up in other things. For you to score well, you need to first play to your strengths and then use other tactics in areas that you’re weaker in.
For example, if you think you have a good grasp over current affairs, start with that. This will not only engage your mind, but also improve your confidence while ensuring there’s a lesser chance of you making mistakes.
5. Deducing the correct answer!

To deduce the answer, you can employ the elimination technique or you can reach the answer from the contextual material provided in the paper. More often than not, the answer can be found by looking at the passage.
For example, questions based on legal reasoning are more likely to be solved via the most practical approach. There are tricky questions that are meant to make you nervous; however, the answer can be found by focusing on the legal principle given in the passage.
Note: On the eve of the exam, organize your essentials – admit card, ID, pens, and other required materials. Plan your route to the exam center, and ensure you have ample time to reach there without rushing.
