NIRF Law Ranking 2024

The NIRF rankings for law institutions are based on several parameters, including Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Perception (PR). The rankings have seen some institutions consistently perform well, while others have experienced fluctuations.
The NIRF rankings for law schools from 2020 to 2024 reveal both consistency and change within the top ranks. While traditional powerhouses like NLSIU, NALSAR, and NLU Delhi continue to lead, other institutions are also making strides.
Emerging law schools have the potential to climb higher, especially with a focus on enhancing their research output, teaching resources, and industry engagement.
The top three positions have seen minimal changes, with NLSIU, NALSAR, and NLU Delhi maintaining dominance. Institutions like WBNUJS, GNLU, and Symbiosis Law School have shown potential to climb higher, with improvements in certain parameters. IIT Kharagpur and Jamia Millia Islamia have experienced more significant fluctuations, suggesting areas where they might need to focus to regain or maintain their positions.
