What is SLAT?
SLAT, short for Symbiosis Law Admission Test, serves as a common entrance examination for admission into four prestigious Symbiosis law schools (SLS), namely SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur. The offered courses include BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB, and BBA LLB.
Conducted annually by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), SLAT is administered in a computer-based test format. The examination spans 60 minutes, comprising 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total score of 60 marks. Subsequently, candidates are shortlisted by the respective SLS based on their SLAT scores. The selected candidates have to then appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Further, based on the scores of SLAT, PI and WAT- a merit list is drawn for admission in respective Symbiosis law schools.

About SLAT Exam 2024
The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is a prestigious examination conducted annually by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to its undergraduate law programs. The SLAT assesses candidates’ aptitude in various domains essential for success in the legal profession, including logical reasoning, legal reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, and general knowledge.
SLAT 2024 was held on May 5 and May 11, 2024. The exam was conducted in computer-based test mode at various examination centres from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. As per the SLAT exam analysis, the question papers of both sets were easy. SLAT 2024 results will be announced on May 22, 2024.

SLAT Results 2024
The result of SLAT 2024 will be available on the official website in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard bears the marks of the candidates in the entrance exam. Candidates can check the SLAT result online on the official website of the exam by entering their login details such as SET ID and password.
SLAT Counseling 2024
Following the announcement of SLAT 2024 results, eligible candidates are required to partake in the counseling process. Below are the steps outlined for participation in SLAT counseling 2024:
- Counseling Registration and Fee Payment: Candidates must visit the official websites of SLS colleges to access the counseling schedule and procedures. Registration is to be completed online solely through the official website. Successful registration will result in the issuance of call letters for participation in the PI-WAT rounds. The registration for SLAT counseling 2024 and SLAT PI and WAT registrations 2024 are now closed.
- Participation in PI-WAT: Candidates are obliged to attend the PI-WAT rounds, during which a panel evaluates them on various aspects including general awareness, legal knowledge, and other pertinent topics. The SLAT PI and WAT 2024 rounds for all SLSs have concluded.
- Merit List Compilation and Selection Rounds: Each institute prepares its merit list based on SLAT scores, PI scores, and WAT scores. Shortlisted candidates must secure their seats by remitting the admission fee and fulfilling other formalities. The process of compiling SLAT merit lists 2024 is currently underway for SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur.
- Seat Confirmation: Upon the release of the merit lists and upon finding their names therein, candidates must visit the respective SLS office for which they have been selected for admission. They are then required to authenticate the necessary documents and submit the admission fee to confirm their enrollment in the preferred course.
SLAT 2024 Exam Analysis
Based on initial feedback from students, the preliminary analysis of the SLAT 2024 exam indicates that the difficulty level of the first phase exceeded expectations. Conversely, the second phase, SLAT Test 2, was notably easier in comparison. Students found the question paper for Test 1 to be lengthy, while Test 2 posed no such challenge. Difficulty levels for Test 1 ranged from easy to moderate, whereas Test 2 was predominantly easy. The SLAT 2024 comprised 60 questions distributed across five sections.
