About the Webinar

This webinar will focus on the intersection of technology and arbitration in data privacy disputes, examining how advancements influence proceedings and outcomes. Additionally, it will explore challenges and resolutions specific to construction and infrastructure disputes, covering regulatory frameworks, procedural complexities, and industry-specific arbitration practices.

Speakers

Mr. R. Venkataraghavan is a Professor of Practice at Manipal Law School (MLS) Bengaluru
He is an experienced techno-legal expert in the field of Construction for over 37 years out of which 30 years are in the international contracts in the GCC region.
He has extensive experience in design, project management and contract administration of engineering and construction projects and has worked with leading consultants and international contractors.
Besides his rich industry experience, Mr. R. Venkataraghavan also has extensive academic experience as an International trainer on various topics related to Construction Contracts administration, claims management and dispute resolution including arbitration.
Mr. R. Venkataraghavan has been empanelled as an arbitrator with Indian Council of Arbitration, Asian International Arbitration Centre and Dubai International Arbitration Centre and has good experience in construction arbitration. He also acts as an Expert Witness in construction arbitrations.
Dr. Apoorvi Shrivastava is an Associate Professor at Manipal Law School (MLS) Bengaluru.
Being a Program Chairperson for the Post Graduate Programme- She provides administrative, strategic, academic oversight and direction to the LL.M Program at MLS, Bengaluru.
She has a teaching experience of over a decade and has taught in the premier institutes like Hidayatullah National Law University, NALSAR University of Law.
Being a certified arbitrator and mediator; she is empanelled with SAMA & Settlement Table and deals with the commercial matters.
She conducts various mediation and negotiation trainings for researchers, students, corporates to equip them to resolve disputes and crack deals in amicable manner.
