Qualifying for the UGC NET Examination is a mandatory requirement for the grant of a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF); pursuing a Ph.D.; and, for appointment as an Assistant Professor in colleges and universities across the country.

Mansi Mankotia graduated with a B.A.LL.B (Hons.) from H.P. University in 2020 and pursued an LLM specializing in criminal law from NLU Shimla. Currently, Mansi is dedicated to advancing her expertise through a Ph.D. in Law. She has cracked the UGC NET exam in 2023.
