The Final Answer Key is out now!
The CLAT Consortium conducted CLAT 2023 on 18 December between 2 PM- 4 PM for admission into the five-year integrated Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses available in various NLUs. The test is being conducted across 127 centers in 23 states and 2 Union Territories.

- Plea filed in the SC by a lawyer and disability rights activist Mr. Arnab Roy against the stringent conditions imposed by CLAT Consortium on Persons with Disabilities looking to avail scribes for the upcoming examination.
- 13 visually impaired students were denied scribes as the Consortium denies Consortium prohibits scribes if they are above 11th grade or if they are affiliated to any coaching centers.
- CLAT Consortium published a notification detailing the way PWDs/SAPs will be accommodated and provided support reasonably . The Consortium has further stated that for visually impaired persons scribes are allowed provided they meet the conditions put forth by the CLAT Consortium. The condition states that- “Any scribes must meet the qualification criteria for scribes set out in the Consortium’s ‘Guidelines for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (“PwDs”) / Specially Abled Persons (“SAPs”)”.
What are the aspirants saying?
- Many aspirants have said that the paper was lengthy but moderate in nature. However, the length of the passages has increased as compared to previous years.
- The difficulty level of the Current Affairs section would fall between moderate to difficult while the difficulty level of the English Section was a bit more due to the length of the passages.
How to calculate the total marks obtained in CLAT 2023?
- Add 1 mark for all the correct answers and deduct 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Don’t add or deduct anything for unanswered questions.
- Add total number of marks obtained from correct answers, multiply the number of wrong answers with 0.25 and then deduct it from the total marks obtained.
How to file objections against the questions or answer key of CLAT 2023?
- CLAT Consortium has just released the provisional answer key for both UG and PG paper.
- You can file the objections (if any) at the CLAT Consortium website. The portal to file objections will remain open between 9 A.M. on 19 December, 2022- 9 A.M. on 20 December, 2022.
- Objections received over email, support tickets on the website or phone calls will not be entertained.
- A fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) is to be paid for each objection.
- If the objection is found to be valid and sustained, the said fee will be remitted to the same account from which it was paid. No requests for deposit of the amount in any other account will be entertained.
- No objection will be entertained without payment of the prescribed fee.
