For the first time ever, the CLAT exam will be held twice in one year. CLAT exam, also known as the Common Law Admission Test, is the pathway for admission to the National Law Universities in the country. The CLAT 2023 registrations opened on August 8, which is certainly a first for aspirants.
Earlier this year, the Consortium of NLUs, which is the governing body for the CLAT exam, announced that the CLAT exam will now be held in December. This is being done to elevate the pressure on students during the Board exams season, so that the two do not clash.
In the previous editions of the CLAT exam, it was observed that this entrance exam would clash with board exams and other entrance exams. To completely obliterate the problem, this decision has been made.
Here are the registrations details for CLAT 2023:
- CLAT 2023 Registrations open: August 8, 20222
- Release of first sample question set: September, 2022
- First open campus visit day for registered students: September, 2022
- Release of second sample question set: October 14, 2022
- Second open campus visit day for registered students: October 22, 2022
- Release of third sample question set: October, 2022
How to register for CLAT 2023?
To register for the CLAT 2023 exam, a student should follow the below mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website of the CLAT consortium: consortiumsofnlus.ac.in.
- Click on the tab titled “CLAT 2023”.
- According to the exam that you are appearing for, select undergraduate or postgraduate.
- Register yourself on the website of the CLAT consortium with your name, email and mobile number.
- Once you are logged in, follow the instructions on the screen to register for the CLAT 2023 exam.
