Feedback from our Past Summer and Winter Training Program Learners
Vignesh Thumuluri, 4th year, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), Visakhapatnam (Corporate Law Program)
My overall experience of the Lawctopus Summer Training Program was truly outstanding. The course was meticulously designed, offering a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical insights.
The assignments were challenging yet rewarding, and the instructors were knowledgeable and incredibly supportive. This program not only expanded my legal expertise but also ignited a greater passion for corporate law.
Umbul Munda, 2nd year, NUSRL, Ranchi (Budding Lawyers Program)
I’m in deep regret for sure as to why I enrolled for this program NOW and why not earlier. It was a really, really enriching experience for me.
This program really boosted my learning and confidence. I’m sad that it ended but happy as well that I learned so much.
Sanjukta Baral, 5th year, NERIM (Corporate Law Program)
I enjoyed learning and came to know about so many things that our college has never taught us. I have drafted a Sale Deed Agreement for the first time, written research papers, and drafted an MOA, Mergers & Acquisition.
Every Saturday, we had networking sessions on how to get an internship or job, and how to make a CV. I would like to thank Tanuj Kalia Sir, Mansi Ma’am, Akansha Ma’am, and other mentors who have taught us and guided us in every possible way.
Shubham G. Dubey, 3rd year, DES’s Navalmal Firodiya Law College (Litigation Program)
It was my first time since I started my law school journey that I got to learn the practical aspects of the legal profession.
It is ineffable for me how much this course has helped me to understand my current position and my future goals regarding my studies.
I believe I can now look into people’s eyes and confidently say that I am studying law.
Manraj Singh Chandpuri, Class 12 student (Budding Lawyers Program)
The entire course was structured extremely well. Guidance of mentors and teachers such as Maansi Ma’am, Jaibatruka Sir, and Aaditya Sir, really helped everyone in the course in order to expand their wings with respect to entering into the Legal Community.
I would recommend this course to everyone, as it really offers a lot. Kudos to Lawctopus for making such an amazing & professional course available at such a minimal cost, the cost was much more valuable.
M. Mansvini Prasanna, 2nd year, Viswa Bharathi College of Law, Hyderabad (Litigation Program)
Personalized assignment feedback and the impactful capstone project enable rapid skill development.
The team’s support system is robust, even addressing technical challenges. I highly recommend this program to anyone seeking practical, hands-on training in their chosen field.
Alfia Sarwar Ali, 4th year, Aligarh Muslim University (Budding Lawyers Program)
The course was very well structured and organized which made it easy for me, as a learner, to get the most out of it.
The various instructors were excellent in their respective courses and made sure that there were no questions left unanswered which really helped me. It was an amazing experience overall.
Ajay Singh, 4th year, SRM University (Litigation Program)
The summer training program was a well-planned and carried out course. It had all of the intricacies essential for litigation.
It gave a one-stop solution in the future for understanding the practical aspects, whether civil or criminal.

12 Benefits of Doing the Lawctopus’ Online Summer Training Program (STP)
1. Get learning equivalent to spending 1 year in the profession!
If you haven’t gotten a high-quality internship this summer or aren’t doing a rigorous course, this is the best (and better) replacement for the learning that you might be missing out on!
2. Recommendation Letter by Lawctopus
If you do well in in the STP and your assignments, you will get a recommendation letter from Lawctopus, which will be beneficial for you when applying for internships and jobs in the future.
3. Learn the skills and get career-ready
Through a winter training program, you’ll gain specific, real-world skills that will help you get internships, freelance opportunities, and jobs.
Learning these skills independently will cost you at least 24 months and at least Rs. 4-5 lakhs.
However, through the STP, you can learn these skills with less money and by investing 20-30 hours per week.
4. Secure a Training Certificate
On successfully completing the program, you’ll get a ‘Certification of Completion’ of the summer training by Lawctopus Law School which will enhance the value of your CV.
5. Secure a Capstone Project Certificate
You’ll also get a Capstone Project Certificate from Lawctopus OR our partner organization, enhancing your profile and job prospects.
6. Enhance your skills from the comfort of your home!
Since STP is completely online, you can spend time with your family and get trained from the comfort of your home.
7. Work on ‘Learning by Doing’ Assignments with close supervision
The assignments we give you will mirror the real world. Our feedback is ‘just meant for you, ‘ not some general gyaan we dole out.
8. Publish your work in our law journal
Throughout the STP, you will work on a research and writing essay. Quality write-ups have a chance to be published on Lawctopus’ journal Academike!
9. Learn and Network with your Peers and Seniors
Networking is a critical part of the legal profession. Every week, for one hour, you’ll participate in focused networking sessions where you’ll learn networking and then actually network.
Introvert? Not a problem! We have you covered.
10. Gain career clarity through live sessions
You’ll leave the STP having addressed 90% of your career questions. Each week, in focused 1.5-hour career sessions, you’ll learn essential skills like making a CV, drafting an SOP, securing internships, and more.
The career sessions are taken by our Founding CEO Tanuj Kalia, an NUJS Kolkata graduate and author of the book ‘Law as a Career’ (LexisNexis, 2015).
11. Get direct guidance from field experts
Gain practical, real-world career insights from experienced professionals in your field.
Whether you’re pursuing a path in litigation, corporate law, or just starting your legal journey, learn how to excel in your chosen career area

We know we’ll have students who are in the best law colleges and have studied at the best English medium schools. We’ll also have students from tier 3 or 4 towns, lesser-known colleges, and from vernacular medium. We have got you covered! All that we require is sincere engagement from your end.

If done properly and as designed, the training program will compress 1 year of post-college learning into 1 month. The program’s design is rigorous.

You can participate in the program if you can read and write in English.
