About the Course

LLB
Duration: 3 Years (6 semesters)
This three-year-long undergraduate program equips students with a broad understanding of law to help build a career in legal practice.
Eligibility:
  • For General and OBC category: A bachelor’s degree in any stream with an average of 50% marks.
  • For SC and ST category: A bachelor’s degree in any stream with an average of 45% marks.
BA LLB
Duration: 5 Years (10 semesters)
This integrated five-year long program, it provides students with thorough knowledge of socio-legal aspects of law. One of the crucial details of the B.A. LL.B course offered by MUIT is that, it offers a revised syllabus crafted as per the demands of the industry.
Eligibility: Intermediate (10+2) with 50% marks for General and OBC category students and 45% marks for SC and ST category.
BBA LLB
Duration: 5 Years (10 semesters)
A five-year long integrated program, it is meant to prepare students to render their legal knowledge in corporate set-ups.
Eligibility:
  • For admission in the BBA LL.B course in MUIT, students belonging to the General and OBC categories must have passed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Students of SC and ST, however, need to have cleared their 10+2 with 45% marks.
LLM
Duration: 2 Years (4 semesters) & 1 Year (2 semesters)
A two-year-long postgraduate program, LL.M can be pursued by students with an LLB or any equivalent degree.
Eligibility: For admission in LLM, the candidate must have to secure at least 50% in LLB or an equivalent degree.
PhD Full Time and Part Time
The admission shall be based on the All India Eligibility Test for admission to PhD in law. Selection shall be based on the final merit list prepared after the VIVA-VOCE of the ALL India Eligibility Test shortlisted applicants.
Eligibility:
  • Applicants holding a degree of LLM from any recognized University with a minimum of 55% are eligible for the ALL India Admission Test.
  • Candidates who have qualified for UGC NET/JRF are exempted from this test.
