About the TS LAWCET Exam
TS LAWCET is a state-level law entrance exam conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad. The law entrance exam is conducted for admission to five-year integrated LLB courses and three-year LLB courses offered at Telangana state universities and colleges.
TS LAWCET 2021 Counselling
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released TS LAWCET/TS PGLCET 2021 counselling dates for the 1st phase. The candidates who had appeared for the examination must note that as per the dates released by the council, the TS LAWCET counselling will start from 27th November 2021 whereas the academic classes in law colleges and universities will commence on 27th December 2021.The candidates can check the TS LAWCET/TS PGLCET counselling dates on the official website.
Here are some of the important details for TS LAWCET Exam:
- A total of 39,866 candidates appeared in the examinations out of which 22,486 candidates passed the examination.
- The counselling of TS LAWCET 2021 will be conducted for admission to 3-year LLB, 5-year integrated LLB and 2-year LLM courses offered by the law colleges in Telangana.
- The candidates must note that those who are willing to appear in Telangana LAWCET 2021 counselling will have to register online.
- The candidates must upload scanned copies of certificates for verification.
- All the registered candidates will be allowed to exercise web options for selecting the law colleges as per their preferences/choices.
- The college wise lists of provisionally selected candidates will be released on 17th December 2021.

TS LAWCET 2022 Application Form

- Candidates can apply for TS LAWCET 2022 from fourth week of March 2022.
- The application form can be filled through online mode.
- Candidates must apply before the last date to avoid late fee.
- Complete application process will be in various stages – Online registration, filling of application details, uploading of images, payment of fee & printing of application.
- Last date to apply without late fee is till third week of June 2022.
- Students can also apply after the last date by paying late fee till July 2022.
Application Fee:
- The application fee for 3 year & 5 years LLB course is Rs. 800/-.
- For ST/ SC & PH candidates, the fee is Rs. 500/-.
- Candidates can pay application fee through online mode only using debit card/ credit card/ TS online.
TS LAWCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

General Criteria:
- There is no age restriction for the candidates seeking admission into LLB courses.
- Candidates must satisfy the local/ non -local status requirement as laid down by the authority.
Course Wise Eligibility:
- For 3 years LLB: Passed graduation degree with minimum of 45% marks(40% for reserved category) from a recognized college or university.
- For 5 years LLB: Passed 12th level with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) from board of Intermediate Education, TS or its equivalent recognized by the University.
TS LAWCET 2022 Exam Pattern

- Exam Mode: It will be held in online CBT mode.
- No of Questions: There will be total 120 questions in the exam.
- Type of Questions: The paper will have multiple choice type of questions.
- Duration of Paper: 90 minutes will be allotted to complete the exam.
- No. of Sections: In the paper there will be 3 sections.
- Marking Pattern: 1 mark will be provided for each correct answer.

TS LAWCET 2022 Syllabus
TS LAWCET Syllabus can be checked by the students online on the website. The syllabus will vary for 3 years and 5 years law courses.
The syllabus will evaluate candidate’s ability & aptitude to pursue the study of law.
For 3 years LLB course, graduation level questions will be asked. For candidates applying for 5 years law courses, 12th level questions will be asked in the entrance exam.

FAQS (Frequently Asked Questions)
TS LAWCET 2022 Hall Ticket
From the second week of August 2022, the TS LAWCET Admit Card will be available for download. It can be downloaded online by entering their login information.
Students should be aware that a hall ticket is a required document that must be carried with them to the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall unless they have it with them. In the event that an error occurs while downloading the admit card, students should contact officials as soon as possible before the exam date.
TS LAWCET 2022 Answer Key
The answer key will be available online on the website in the fourth week of August 2022. It will include all of the answers to the questions on the question paper. Candidates will be able to estimate their scores using the TS LAWCET answer key even before the results are released.
Students may also challenge the answer key within the time frame specified if they find an error in it. The final answer key will be made available in September 2022.
TS LAWCET 2022 Result
The TS LAWCET results will be released in September 2022. Students will be able to download their score cards using their hall ticket and date of birth.
To be eligible for admission, students must achieve a minimum of 35% (42 out of 120) on the exam. The obtained rank card is only valid for the current academic year. It will be made available following the announcement of the results.
TS LAWCET 2022 Counselling
The counselling process for the TS LAWCET 2022 will begin in September/October 2022. Following the announcement of the results, the counselling process will begin. Candidates must pay the counselling fee in order to participate in the TS LAWCET counselling process.
Candidates will be assigned seats based on the number of options selected, category, rank, and availability of seats in colleges, among other factors. On the day of reporting at the designated institutions, students must bring their necessary documents/certificates for verification.
