About UGC NET
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has assigned the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct the UGC-NET, an examination designed to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for several academic roles. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC-NET in June 2024 assessing candidates in OMR (Pen & Paper) mode. The UGC NET is used to evaluate candidates for the positions of ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor,’ ‘Assistant Professor and Ph.D. admission,’ or ‘Ph.D. admission only’ in Indian universities and colleges.
UGC NET 2024 Application Form
UGC NET exam 2024 is all set to be conducted from 16th June, 2024. NTA has started accepting applications for UGC NET 2024 from April 20, 2024. The last date to apply is May 10 (before 11:50 PM). The last date for submitting the application fee is May 12, 2024.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2024?
If you plan to apply for the UGC NET (June) Exam, here’s what you need to do:
- Go to the Website: Visit the UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Start the Application Process: On the home page, scroll down and click the ‘Application form’ link.
- Register as a New User: Click on ‘New Registration’ and enter the required information to create your account.
- Complete the Application: Fill out all necessary details in the application form.
- Upload Scanned Documents: Upload a passport-sized photo and your signature, both in JPEG format.
- Pay the Application Fee: Submit the required fee (INR 1,100 for General, INR 550 for OBC/EWS, and INR 275 for SC/ST/PwD).
