The older papers look very different from the current one, and knowing this helps you choose how to use each paper.

The 2017 and 2018 papers carried 150 objective questions each, and the 2017 paper ran for 2 hours with a 0.25 mark deduction for every wrong answer. Use the older papers from 2017 to 2021 differently. Treat them as subject practice rather than full mock tests, and pick out the questions on Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Contract, Torts, and Criminal Law to strengthen your core concepts. Analysts who reviewed the 2025 paper noted that it leaned on minor acts such as the Transfer of Property Act, labour law, taxation, and administrative law, so make sure your revision does not stop at the big subjects.

After every paper, write down three things: your score, your accuracy rate on attempted questions, and the topics behind your wrong answers. A week later, re-attempt only the questions you got wrong. This simple loop turns ten papers into a personal revision plan.
